We bought Win Server 2008 R2 but by mistake vendor sent us Win Server 2008 sp2. How can I change 32 bit plateform to 64 bit plateform? Where should I go for that? Thanks.

You cannot change an installation from x86 to x64. You will have to reinstall the system. Also be aware that Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 are different OS'es, that need different licensing! Hi, you you cannot do cross platform upgrade. you need to clean install the server with Server 2008 R2 and also you need 2008 R2 license. Since you have brought Server 2008 R2, the licese situation should be ok. Just check with them whether they send the wrong license as well. Thamara.
