We Configuring Oracle provider OLE-DB for oracle as a link server in SQL server 2014.

we are facing issue after the successfully installation of oracle 11 g client run time tool  in SQL .SQL management studio unable to connect it take very long time just on loading .and after the restart of SQL server  problem has been resolve .

Can we resolve this issue without restating because we are in production SQL with SQL always on feature configured and lot of databases reside and running on it.

 

Please share solution of above issue

how long did it take on loading? Can the issue be reproduced?

Can check event log and error log for that time.
