ISAPI Filter not running on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server
I have developed an ISAPI filter in VS2005 and has cross compiled for 64-bit. I installed it on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server with IIS 7.5, but it does not work while filter dll loads successfully. I checked it with the following command. tasklist /m mydll* Any suggestion/solution why it is not working and how to get it work? Thanks in advance.Muhammad Jawaid Shamshad System Architect http://mjawaid.wordpress.com

Hi, We will certainly be able to resolve the issue if you please help us with the event id or error that comes. By the way you can refer to official IIS site if there is something missing in ISAPI filter installation. http://www.iis.net/ConfigReference/system.webServer/isapiFilters/filter VP Mishra System Administrator MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCTS

Thanks for the reply VP Mishra. Actually no event occur neither there is an error. Filter just does not do anything. I have tested this filter on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2003, all 32-bit. But I have compiled the same dll using VS2005 cross compiler for 64-bit, but it does not work on Windows2008 R2 64-bit server.Muhammad Jawaid Shamshad Solutions Architect http://mjawaid.wordpress.com
