IIS not Serving pages externally
We have moved our website to a new hosting provider but still need a sub-domain pointed at our on premise web server. The @ host IP for our new website was pointed to the new server. I created a sub-domain at go-daddy and pointed the IP to our existing on premise web server. I've tried 2 things. I tried to create a new website in IIS with the subdomain. I also tried to add this as an additional host header under the original website in IIS. I would start by saying I am new to IIS. It looks like it is pointing the website correctly inside my domain. From the Internet it isn't serving the website via the sub-domain address. Do I have to add something to my DNS? Is my approach incorrect? Thank you for your help ahead of time.
