IIS confused
Hello i am new to the company it is windows server 2003 sp2, IIS 6, currently when users in my domain open internet explorer a different webpage is opening. i belive the previous admin may have created a new custom error page or he may have made changes to default pags and now i am supposed to make change to that page but i am not able to trace out where did he create custom error or he modified the default page just guide me as i have not used IIS alot. I think he did not do it by group policy. HOW DO I TRACE OUT WHERE DID HE MADE CHANGE

How can u make it sure that there is no group policy at your end ? one more thing I would ask please please go to internet options --. general -- and see if you can see and edit the default home page

Hello, to check that this was made via group policies or not, use rsop.msc and check the applied settings. It is possible also that this is made via a script using group policies. Also, I suggested checking the applied scripts. I just added a link to IIS forums so that if the user has an IIS question, he can use it.
