IIS Load Balancing or separate software
This may be a pretty beginner type question. But I want to setup several SMTP relays through IIS6. On each relay I have a different email
account sending. We have applications that send an email on whatever port we want, to the windows server. Then of course the SMTP server grabs the email and sends it out via whatever configuration we put in. I would like it to change SMTP servers each time
an email is sent to it. Is this possible? The problem with this, if it's even possible, is that these will be sending out MS Exchange 365 accounts. So we will need to have a set FROM address. So whatever program that is load balancing needs
to have a way to change the FROM address on the email.
Thank you very much!

If you configure a cluster of servers its possible to
Windows MVP 2011-12, XP, Vista, 7. Expanding into Windows Server 2008 R2, SQL Server, SharePoint, Cloud, Virtualization etc. etc.

How exactly?

I am going to assume your IT budget is adequate
each server needs a hypervisor, Hyper-V is free and recently MS has released a DVD of it. The free hyper-v is command line driven.
The can be managed from a standard server.
Now given up to about 11 blades in a chassis each blade needs one hypervisor. You can use a blade for a domain controller too.
Windows server can then do load balancing across the blades.
