IIS Help
Hello everyone we use windows server 2003 sp2 with IIS 6 I wan to modify the default web page of explorer for all my users in the domain. When they double click explorer it shud open the modified webpage instead of going to default webpage. please guide me how can i do it.

this can be achieved from Group Policy Open up the Group Policy and navigate to User Configuration > Windows Settings > Internet Explorer Maintenance > URLs > Important URLs. You'll find a section for the homepage in there http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin

Hello i am new to the company it is windows server 2003 sp2, IIS 6, currently when users in my domain open internet explorer a different webpage is opening. i belive the previous admin has created a new custom error page or he made changes to default pages and now i am supposed to make change to that page but i am not able to trace out where did he create custom error or he modified the default page just guide me as i have not used IIS alot. I think he did not do it by group policy.
