IIS Authentication Methods Across Multiple Servers, Same Domain
What is the best way for an organization with several Win2K3 servers running IIS 6 and hosting several sites to allow users that have authenticated to one secure IIS 6.0 server and site to be directed to another server and site (with the same permissions
set-up) without having to be prompted for the authentication credentials again ? In other words, if a user has already authenticated to
https://www1.somedomain.com and we want to redirect that user to
https://www2.somedomain.com (both on the same domain and with the same permissions set-up) how is that best implemented so that the user is not prompted for credentials again ? TIA ...
p.s. We have to be able to support most browsers with these sites (i.e. Google Chome, Firefox, Safari, and IE 7 & 8 ).
