I have a webserver running IIS 7.0 and asp.net, whenever I go to http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX I get a 404 error coming from an HTTPAPI\2.0 server. However, when I go to https://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX the website comes up just fine because I am now using port 443 (HTTPS) instead of port 80 (HTTP) . Any ideas as to why this might happen??

Sounds like a configuration issue for that web site. 404 is a file or directory not found. You only have one web site hosted in IIS?
