IIS 7.5 No worker processes running
I am migrating from Server 2008/IIS 7 to 2008 R2/IIS 7.5. IIS 7.5 says all the app pools are started but it appears that the worker processes are failing to load. I can ping a site's ip but a: the browser returns a 503 error b. the server event log says the application request router failed to load (Event ID 2280 from IIS-W3SVC-WP) c. there is no sign of w3p... processes running in task manager. Also, I have enable logging but no log files are being created. Is there some global setting needed in IIS to enable worker processes to run and service sites? Could there be some permissions issue? Thanks much to anyone who can help me past this. Proably a "duh" moment coming up.Doug MacGregor MacGregor Computer Services Fairfield, Iowa
