Can safely run IIS 7.0 on Windows Server 2003?

No,
You will need to have Vista/2008 (not R2) installed to run IIS 7.0 and
7/2008 R2 to run IIS 7.5.

Confirmed with Mike, IIS 7.0 will not work with W2K3Isaac Oben MCITP:EA, MCSE
