IIS 6 and FIPS 140-2
Hello,I can't seem to find any procedures for configuring my IIS 6.0 server to use only FIPS 140-2 encryption during its SSL web connections. I have found some blogs etc....saying to enable the "Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing" in group policy. However this effects the entire system and I'm only interested in enabling FIPS for IIS. The only setting in the IIS manager are "Use SSL" and "require 128 bit encryption", however nothing specifically to FIPS or TLS. Has anyone enabled this? and how?
