IIS 6 - ServerGotRequest vs ServerBeginResponse
Analyzing a Fiddler session we noticed that almost 98% of the overall elapsed time was included between ServerGotRequest and ServerBeginResponse. Example: ACTUAL PERFORMANCE -------------- ClientConnected: 13:54:21:7882 ClientDoneRequest: 13:54:21:7882 Gateway Determination: 0ms DNS Lookup: 0ms TCP/IP Connect: 0ms ServerGotRequest: 13:54:21:7882 ServerBeginResponse: 13:54:24:0851 ServerDoneResponse: 13:54:24:1007 ClientBeginResponse: 13:54:24:1007 ClientDoneResponse: 13:54:24:1320 Overall Elapsed: 00:00:02.3437950 I could'nt find any article explain it why this occurs. What this difference means? Thanks in advance.Alex Rosa -- Sharing my knowledge at http://www.keep-learning.com/blog
