Hyper-V Server 2012, CAU, Unable to drain roles

Hi,

I have a 2 node failover cluster running Hyper-V Server 2012.  Draining one of the nodes for CAU fails without any obvious errors logged.  All of the VMs live migrate successfully, after three re-tries node drain fails, the node leaves maintenance mode, and VMs live migrate back to their original locations.  I've reviewed all the event logs on each server and I'm stumped.

All of the networks and disks are in an UP status.  CSVs are not redirected and they are all owned by the host having difficulty draining roles.

It seems the best thing to do is to run the cluster validation tests, specifically the storage tests.  I won't have a maintenance window to bring everything down for quite a while however and some of the storage tests are known to be disruptive.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thank you

I found the MS iSCSI client did not automatically reconnect on the second host, not sure why I didn't check that before.  Evidently there is something awry in my configuration.
