Hyper-V Automatic Start-Up

Hi Everyone,

Got a call this morning to say that after a power outage last night users were unable to access some critical services.

These critical services were located on Virtual Machines which are hosted on a 2012 R2 server.

Configuration is set to automatically start the Virtual Machines; one immediately, another after 60 seconds, and another after 120 seconds.

For some reason, none of the virtual machines started automatically .. and so begins the early wake up call.

I've had a look at the logs and can't really find anything which points to a failure to start a machine, the only thing I've found is errors in relation to the Hyper-V Replication service due to the replication server currently being down (that's the next job, just hasn't come back up since outage).

Servers started perfectly when starting manually.

Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
