The error states that you are running in Safe Mode. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc734357(WS.10).aspx When you boot you can only boot in Safe Mode? What happens when you boot in Normal Mode?

I can only boot in safe mode. It just automatically comes into safe mode, and I don't know how I can get into normal mode.

boot into safe mode and try this: To Reset System Configuration Utility to Normal Startup To reset System Configuration Utility to normal startup, follow these steps: Click Start, click Run, type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK. On the General tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services, and then click OK. Restart your computer. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325375

Hi, As “Dariusg” mentioned, the root cause of event ID 8211 is the computer can only boot into Safe Mode. To fix this issue, the key point is to boot into Normal Mode. Would you please clarify the following questions: 1. When did the issue start to occur? 2. Is there any change made on this system? 3. Were any new hardware or software installed recently? If so, please try to remove it and test. For more information about how to troubleshoot the startup problems in Windows Server 2003, please refer to the following Microsoft KB article: How to troubleshoot startup problems in Windows Server 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325375 Hope it works!
