We have windows 2008 DC , i got it error msg every day Performance counters error ID 1023,1000,1008
( 1008- Remote Access , 1023 Dll Psched , 1023 DLL usb hub ) i don't want to run this application or i want to stop this error . pls anyone help
us.

1002 Perfdisk

Unable to allocate a dynamic memory buffer.

PerfOS 1000


Unable to open one of the Windows operating system performance counter objects. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code.



Perflib 1008




The Open Procedure for service "PerfOS" in DLL "C:\Windows\system32\perfos.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section
contains the error code.







Perflib 1010



The Collect Procedure for the "Spooler" service in DLL "C:\Windows\system32\winspool.drv" generated an exception or returned an invalid status. The performance data returned by the counter DLL
will not be returned in the Perf Data Block. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the exception code or status code.

Appication Error 1000

Event filter with query "select * from __instancemodificationevent within 30 where targetinstance isa 'Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfDisk_LogicalDisk' and targetinstance.PercentFreeSpace <
1 and targetinstance.Name != '_Total'" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041002. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.


1023 Perflib
Windows cannot load the extensible counter DLL PerfDisk. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the Windows error code

Agree with Arthur's suggestion. Its difficult to predict whether the errors are h/w related, rather I would say they are NOT likely related to h/w.Press any key... What the ... Where's any key ?
