How to schedule robo copy
I need to schedule a robo copy every night . But the batch file only work properly in "Administrator: Command Prompt" in win2k8r2. In the scheduled task, the batch file will run , but in robo log file I got "You do not have the Manage Auditing user right." Nothing is copied. I tried with both local admin and domain admin to schedule the task, but none help. Is the anyway we can start a "Administrator: Command Prompt" in scheduled task? Thanks, Louie

Try disabling UAC on the Windows 2008 computer, then run the schedule task. Try disabling the firewall on the Windows 2008 computer, then run the schedule task. These are the two most common causes of issues like these. If you are still having problem post the robocopy command and explain how the two servers are connectioned, what domains they are in, what user is running the command, what domain the user is in, what permissions the user has on each server.
