How to register my DLL in Windows 2008
Hi! I am not sure if here is the right place to add my question, please let me know where I ca nadd my question. We are planning to upgrade from server 2000 to 2008 We have several ASP web application and lots of COM+ objects which I managed to install with no problem at all. My problem is one specefic DLL fiels (this is a .NET 1.1 class library) which we used to use RegAsm.exe to wrap it as COM+ object in order to call this from ASP or VB script, this work fine in Windows 2000 but I have problem with Windows 2008. By the way this dll is a 32 bits. It seems that it is registred correctly but when I try to use this I get Error: ActiveX component can't create object: XXXXXXXXX Code: 800A01AD Source: Microsoft
