How to ping the client IP addresses in the Windows 2008 Domain controller
Dear All,We are using 3 Windows 2008 server's. This 3 servers one of the windows 2008 for domain controller & remaining 2 servers clients. Domain controller name : windcOther servers : exend01 & exend02We are able to ping the domain controller IP address in exend01 & exend02 servers. But we are not able to ping the exend01 & exend02 ip addresses in windc server. How to ping exend01 & exend02 IP addresses in the windc server?Regards,Santh

Check for possible firewall settings blocking ICMP on the three servers. From windc, are you able to ping its gateway? is ping failing with IP and DNS? are those 2 member servers joined to the domain with proper DNS pointers to windc, that should make their firewall profile a domain profile which does allow ICMP...you also may have to create the reverse lookup zone in DNSas it's not automatically created during dcpromo
