How to deactivate server license

I have single license of server 2008 R2 Ent on which i ma facing some issue so i want to format it. How can i unregistered windows server keys so that i can reactivate it again after formatti

No need for deactivation, after you've formatted call MS activation support and go for activation (on same server) using the installation  ID.
