we have a requirement to create outbound EDI batch file consisting of multiple GS-GE(group Segments), each containing multiple ST-SE segments in it. Number of transactions to be grouped is based on some common identifier. For e.g grouping all Purchase Orders under one GS-GE for each Vendor.

We are using BizTalk 2010. We are able to create batch files containing multiple SE-ST under one ISA and one GS segment. However, we haven't found any option to create multiple GS-GE as per our requirement. Any help on this is appreciated.

Hi Sheetal,

As per the standard the ISA and GS segments are non repeating and with minimum and maximum occurrence as "1". Whereas the segment inside can have multiple occurrence.
