How to change the checkboxes in an application to run it quietly and no user action.

I am planning to install Visual Studio 2013 and I want it to run quietly with no user action. Which means that I want to configure the checkboxes within the setup application to uncheck some of the checked boxes. For example when you are installing a program and it gives you some options you wish to install like tools, packages or addons. I want to change some of the pre-selected ones. Would I need to find a setup.ini or autosetup.inf file and change the settings in there?

Is it even possible to do? I know in Windows the checkboxes are called "flags".

You'd need to ask this in the VS setup forum.

AFAIK, silent installs are possible.
