How to block .exe in a specific directory with Windows 7 Pro

Hello,

Is it possible to prevent a user to run exe files in a specific directory with Windows 7 Pro ?

In fact I would like to do the same thing that Applocker but on Windows 7 Pro as applocker cannot be used on this version of Windows 7.

Thanks in advance,

Anthony A.

If it is a share, you can do file screening to prevent users from saving an EXE there in the first place.

Thank you for your answers.

In fact I want to prevent that exe have been run in directories used habitually by apt virus. So I need to block all .Exe.

I found how to block specific .exe with GPO or software restrictions but not all .exe. Is it possible ?
