How to Undo PC Shutdown Group Policy

Hi Guys,

I am having trouble reversing PC shutdown group policy.  I got approval from the CEO to go ahead and shutdown PC's every night, a few people complained to him about having to miss clocking in on time (which in my opinion is their own fault) but either way now I must reverse the GPO so it doesn't shut down PC's automatically at 7:30 pm like it has been.

I've been searching google and the internet for an answer and there is nothing about removing the PC's shut down GPO.  Can you guys please help me figure this out, it is very time sensitive. Thank you.

I am assuming that you did this with group policy applying a scheduled task. Just edit the policy and uncheck enabled, or change action to delete or go to common tab and check remove this item when it's not longer applied. In all cases you need to wait for group policy to refresh on client computers.
