Hi, I will add a Windows 2008 R2 server to my domain as Dc and I was wondering should I make it GC or not? Whats the advantages or disadvantages of having multiple GC on same domain and site? Recent System: PDC- Windows 2003 Ent.- Global Catalog (Will be removed in a couple of months ) ADC- Windows 2008 R2 Ent- Global Catalog New server will be ADC: Windows 2008 R2 Datacenter- Additional environment infos: Exchange 2010 Standard on a member server. One site in my domain

Hello, in a single forest domain you should make all DCs Global catalog server.
