How long does the Win 2008 Server take to reboot. After adding (AD DS) and (DNS) Server roles to Win 2008 I have, rebooting began to take 15 minutes, isn't that a long time.Luai

If your hardware is moderate it should boot fast. If you are facing problem after entering the password then the problem is usually with the nic settings dns points and lot more. http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin

Generally it should not take long time. Check your network settings. Primary DNS settings should points to right DNS server. Thanks

Hello, a single DC/DNS server can take that long if you use AD integrated DNS zones as the AD will start if DNS is up and running BUT DNS is AD integrated..... So this may result in longer boot time.
