How is the alert Ticket ID generated
Previously I have manually configured the ticket id. I am now working on a system integrated with Service Manager that generates the ticket id automatically, is it coincidental or is something else creating it?

Hi
This is expected with SCOM and service manager once integrated.
if there is an alert in scom a ticket will be created in service manager and alert is updated with ticket id.
