How do you manage Active Directory?
I just installed AD on 2008 standard. I come from a novell world where I use consoleone or iManager to manage it. I Know you can go into the domain controller where AD is installed then go to users and computers. Rather then remote desktoping in can I manage it from my PC once I log into the AD network? If so how?

Yes you can. For windows 2008, you can use RSAT (Remote Server Administration Tools). Intall it on your client computer and you will be able to manage it remotely. There is a 64bit version and a 32bit version of this tool. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
