How do you configure Perfmon (running on Windows Server 2008) to log directly to a SQL Server 2003 running on a different PC?
I have a Server PC running on Server 2008 OS. I am trying to set up Perfmon to log directly to a SQL 2003 Server. The SQL server is NOT running locally -- it's on a separate PC. I have already configured an ODBC DSN (I selected SQL Server) on the Server 2008 box. When configuring performance counter logs, how do I chose the SQL Database as the location to send the perfmon files?
