How do we get the Snipping Tool in Windows Server 2012?

How do I get the Snipping Tool (snippingtool.exe) in Windows Server 2012?

In WS 2008, I could install the Destop Experience feature, but there doesn't seem to be a feature with that name in WS 2012.

The executable used to be in C:\Windows\System32, but its not there in WS 2012. (Of course, that could be because I haven't installed the right feature; but I don't know what the right feature is.)

I did find a copy in C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64...[big long folder name], but it doesn't seem to actually run when I double-click it.

Desktop Experience is under Features\User Interface and Infrastructure.

I have it installed and the Snipping Tool is in Windows Accessories.

Thanks Brian. It really helped me.

If anyone is looking for a way to do mass deploy this feature in windows server 2012, here is the procedure to do it with PowerShell http://techibee.com/powershell/get-snippingtool-in-windows-server-2012/1824

Enabling windows optional features in windows server 2012 is little different from windows server 2008.

Beware that adding this feature needs the Ink and Handwriting and the Media Foundation services too.

The whole thing then requires a reboot :(
