How do i disable message "your password will expire in N days" in certain servers?
Hi people, I would like to know if there is any possibility to disable message "your password will expire in N days" in certain servers. I do not want the same I am not expire, just that 2 or 3 servers do not display the message. Thank you.

Thanks, Isay not appear that the message"expires user password". Finally i found this in the local policies of local machine, "security options" -> "prompt user to change password before expiration".

If you want to set the Policy locally on the machine, then yes you can use Local Group Policy Editor. Glad to know that you sorted it out, and thanks for the follow up. The correct answer is actually, Group Policy (or Local Policy on a standalone machine) Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Interactive Logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration. This allows control over the number of days before expiration that the prompt appears. The default is 14 days. Regards, Gavin James MCSE
