How do i back date windows 8 back to windows 7?
Ok so I've had my laptop for about 2 years and it came with windows 7 preinstalled on it what i really liked, then after the big deal over windows 8 and how it was meant to be so much better i thought i would jump on the band wagon and install it on my laptop after doing so i started to use it and well cut it short i do not like it at all and no one in my house hold can get there head around it so how do i back date it back to windows 7 with out whipping my laptop and losing everything is there a way i can do it via dos, scripting, patching or anything with out losing all my old programs and photo, music and so on?

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. I suggest we check the "Uninstalling" part of the article below: Windows 8 Release Preview: frequently asked questions http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/faq If the original system on the laptop is a pre-installed OEM version, please contact the OEM vendor/manufacturer regarding how to recover the OEM Windows 7 system. In the meantime, please understand that this forum is for Windows Server. If you need further help regarding this issue, I suggest we post a new thread in the Windows 8 IT Pro forum: Windows 8 IT Pro http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/w8itpro Have a nice day.
