How do I find the SNMP Protocol Version used in Server 2008 R2?
Could you please let me know how to find or show what version of the SNMP Protocol being used under Windows Server 2008 R2? I need to verify what version I have for testing.

The answer from Dave halfway answers my question which his link refers me to the protocol versions used on which systems. I really need a command or tool to directly verify the SNMP protocol version on my 2008 R2 Server box. Is there any way to
do that?
Thanks... Rich

Hi Rich,
Thanks for posting here.
Based on my knowledge this is depend on the server side but not client ,for example when server sent a SNMP request in V2c version and client should response that in same version . And Windows Server 208 R2 supports both V1 and V2c which can be acquired
form the link Dave posted .
By capturing SNMP traffics on both sides and analyzing it will help to accurately verify the version that system is use. Sample data is similar like below:
20:45:43 2012/5/1 20:45:43.4442738 3 6.2708309
192.168.1.10 IP-SNMP SNMP SNMP:Version2, Community = public, Get request, RequestID = 21482 {UDP:126, IPv4:889}
