How do I enable JavaScript in Windows Server 2008?
I am trying to download patches for my Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V, however I am unable to log into the site because it requires that JavaScript to be enabled. However, security options in IE are grayed out, so I am unable to enable JavaScript. What do I need to do to enable JavaScript?

If you do not have IE restrictions defined in your GPOs (which "grays out" certain tabs), you can try launching IE with Protected Mode Off. Do a Shift-Right-click on the IE icon on the QuickLaunch bar and select "Run as Administrator", this should launch IE with Protected Mode Off (check the lower right hand corner of your IE window). You have to be a local administrator of the computer in order to accomplish this.Regards,Salvador Manaois III MCSE MCSA CEH MCITP | Enterprise/Server Admin Bytes & Badz : http://badzmanaois.blogspot.com

Right click on IE and run as administrator; a normal user would need to know thepassword for admin rights (or a variation of that) etc.
