How do I determine bandwidth usage?
How can I tell the amout of upload and the amount of downoad that is done to and from my server per day/week/month. Do I need to purchase a software? can it even be done? Any built in server tools that will do it?Trevor Fielder

Personally, I don't know a Microsoft utility that perform such thing. I think you should search and find a third party software that perform such things. Hi Trevor, do you have already taken a look to the performancemonitor (perfmon.msc). It´s part of each windows system. You could make a collection with nic indicators. A very complex but extremly good tool is system center operation manager (for larger environments), that have also a very professional reporting. Have also a look to windows intune, if you thought already about using cloud services for managing your infrastructure (available sind 23rd March). Best regards Thomas Lambertz
