How can you password protect a compressed folder in Windows Server 2008?
I've done this in Server 2003. You simply open the compressed folder and go to the "File" menu and select "Add Password". I try this in Server 2008 and it's not under the "Organize" menu, nor is it under the hidden "File" menu. Can anybody tell me how to do this in Server 2008?

As you mentioned the function is removed in Windows Vista/2008. I know some people use this function a lot. As the function is removed, you may have to use a third party tool to do this job.Shaon Shan |TechNet Subscriber Support in forum |If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
