How can I know the name of application utilizing maximum NIC interface
Is it poosible to monitor the name of application which is utilizing maximum network interafce of server 2003. We have an virtual machine facing a problem of NIC Hung.
VM machine automatically get disconnected from network and when i disable/enable the NIC, Machine comes back to network. It is tough to know problem is with OS or with VM box.

To find out if it is your vm or the host machine, you could use Performance Monitor
http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/windows_2003_performance_monitor.html, run it on the Vm see how high it goes, run it on the host see how high that goes. although this will not tell you the application it will at least tell you which
machine it is that is hogging the utilization.
You could use Microsofts Network Monitor,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/148942. and run a capture and it might list which application is creating the most connections.

you will have to use a packet analyzer tool like wireshark or Network Monitor from Microsoft to analyze the issue.
