How can I add different network client pc into active directory domain?
Hi I've active directory domain with ip 192.168.1.14/24 and client pc IP: a. 192.168.2.0/24 b. 192.168.3.0/24 Now can I add those above network pc into active directory domain? If possible than tell me how?

Yes, the PCs can participate in the domain. However, since they are on different subnets, there must be a router between the segments. How IP Packets are Routed on a Local Area Network http://www.anitkb.com/2010/06/how-ip-packets-are-routed-on-local-area.html Once you have your network segments routing between them, joining the domain requires the proper clients DNS settings. All of the PCs that will need to join the domain will need to point to a DNS server that can resolve the necessary AD related records (generally the DCs in your AD will also be running DNS as well). 1) Make sure your network is correctly configured to route packets between the segments. 2) Your DC(s) and DNS server(s) need to be set up. 3) Your clients needs to be properly configured (via DHCP) 4) Join the computers to the domain Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
