Hi,Can someone help me? Can some tell me where i can add the adprop.pdb that came as a hotfix, i have got windows UDS server 2003 sp2....Thanks inadvanceCiscocharlie

Hi, Create a folder named Hotfix in the root directory of C drive. Double-click the downloaded file, click Run, click Continue, type C:\Hotfix and click OK. Type the password and click OK. Note: you can find the password in the hotfix email sent to you. Now you can double-click WindowsServer2003-KB824688-x86-ENU in C:\Hotfix to install the hotfix. Hope it helps. Tim Quan - MSFT

Hi,It downloaded two files, the first was windowsserver2003-kbb24688-86-enu.exe, when i run this file it produces an error message that says, This KBB24688 is for a different hardware platform.When i run the other file windowsserver2003-kbb24688-86-enu-symbols.exe, it extracts a file called adprop.pdb.I have windows 2003 R2 standard 64bit edition,so i dont knowwhy it is giving me this error message on the first one.Can you please helpCiscocharlie

You have to dowload hotfix for 64bit architecture not for x86 (32bit)

Hi, No, we do not have this hotfix for the x64 platform. KB824688 is only available to x86 and ia64 platforms. Since you are running a x64 system, you cannot and do not need to install this hotfix. Tim Quan - MSFT

HiWhen i try and create a new home folderon windows 2003 r2 for a new user i get this message;The \\domain\share\user home folder was not created because you do not have create access on the server. The user account has been updated with the new folder value but you must create the directory manually after obtaining the required access rights.I am also running DFSThanks inadvanceCiscocharlie
