Home DC server setup roadblock

I'm setting a home environment for server 2012 r2 training.  I have 2 current VM's on Hyper-V, the first computer(Comp1) is the DC already setup on a private domain, contoso.com, with the roles DNS, AD DS installed.  From my home router a Linksys EA4500 the scope IP's are 192.168.1.100-149, so comp1 has the following set its IP; ip 192.168.1.110, subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.152, DNS 127.0.0.1.  Comp2(2nd VM) I setup with ip 192.168.1.111, subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway, 192.186.1.152, DNS 192.168.1.110

When trying to add comp2 from the gui or powershell, I get this error:
Add-Computer : Computer 'comp2' failed to join domain 'contoso.com' from its current workgroup
'WORKGROUP' with following error message: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Was wondering if I need to adjust the ip settings to get this corrected or what I have overlooked.  Doing ipconfig on the DC(comp1) is resolving to the ISP and itself for DNS.

Setup the DC as a static IP address, this way it never changes.  You seem to have all the corrrect items setup for the computer to join,  make sure you are typing in your domain correctly in the powershell command.

Both servers are static IP's.  I toggled the DNS settings on both VM's with doing away the loopback on the DC(comp1) and adding the ISP DNS ip and adding the ISP DNS ip to the second VM(comp2) but same error still when trying to adding comp2 to the domain.
