HiJackThis, maybe I have removed something, Win2k3, Citrix server
So we've had the lovely Trojan.Vundo.FCF for the past 10 days and I am the only 1 in my entire company to do the IT thing. Since Norton AV (10.2) is pretty much a complete waste, I've been running Bitsomething or others online scanner and it detects and cleans the Vundo VIRUS.However, before restarting the server last night (Remotely), I ran HIJACKTHIS and I believe I removed something that is giving me the currently problem. When I log in, remotely, locally, on the domain(locally), the Windows sign on screen disappears and then pops back up ("Press CTRL ALT DEL to SIGN IN). - I booted into the safe mode and it did the same thing- I booted into LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION, same thingWtf can I do to restore the old registry, if HIJACKTHIS even made a backup!PLEASE HELP. and if MS employees are reading this, the VUNDO virus is the worst I've seen. It should be built into the OS to remove it or not let it even infect the system. Attaching a randomized dll too RUNDLL32.exe sucks... (which i undrestand is the point of rundll32)

Ran through a cold bare metal restore from a few days ago. Virus still fully intact and our Norton Corp. edition is still a complete waste of money (and yes its up-to-date)THank the world for BitDefender's online scan/removal.

Hi, Can you press Ctrl+Alt+Del to log on the system now? If so, click Start, type control userpasswords2 and press Enter. Switch to the Advanced tab, uncheck the box before Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and click OK. Log off and logon the account again. Does it still ask you to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to logon? If the issue persists, this issue is probably caused by viruses. Please understand that Microsoft is not specialized in troubleshooting virus issues, to get the issue resolved in a timely manner, I suggest contacting third-party anti-virus program manufactures such as Norton, McAfee and Trend Micro as soon as possible.
