I am running Windows7 Starter program on my new netbook. My old desktop is running Windows ME. I need to know how to transfer my files from my desktop to the netbook, download programs using a CD-ROM. I have contacted the manufacturer of the netbook and they don't have any answers for me. I have tried to transfer files using a USB cable. Can anyone give me something helpful?
