Help please I'm lost (again)
I have win7 pro , 32bit installed. (just freshly done) Now someone tells me that I should have used the 64 bit option as it is more efficient and would allow me to use the full 4gb ram installed instead of the 3gb I am limited to at present. Question: 1. Would it really make much difference? 2.Is it a big job to change over now? 3. Is 64bit more efficient/reliable than 32bit? 4. How do I do the change over? ie: Just reload the windows disc and select 64 instead of 32? Thank you all in anticipation Alan u daadu@bigpond.com

Hello, 1. the RAM will be fully used but you have to make sure that all hardware you use has 64bit drivers. 2. reinstall is required 3. during normal work you will not realize this, if you have high performance requirements where the RAM is important then yes. 4. see 2Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
