Help on trouble with my DNS
Dear all, My DNS was working fine until today after an update ocurs for Server 2008 SP1 which actually failed When I rune the nslookup I have the following results: > nslookup solatys.local Server: solatys.local Address: 192.168.1.102 *** solatys.local can't find nslookup: Non-existent domain >Your knowledge is enhanced by that of others.

Proceed like that: Make sure that each DC / DNS server point to itself as primary one Make sure that each DC without DNS point to the correct DNS server as primary one Run net.exe stop netlogon & net.exe start netlogon command on all DCs Make sure that your client computers are using internal DNS server as primary one Make sure that you don't have connectivity problems If the problem persists, disable all security softwares and check again. Hello, please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the DC/DNS server in question and also other existing DC/DNS machines. now it works, they was an update of Server 2008 R2 SP1 which fail to intsall on the server. I restart it and stop that update and works aginYour knowledge is enhanced by that of others.
