Hello everybody, I have succesfully set up WDS on my server (2008 R2) and installed windows 7 on a client. After the setup completes I fill in the account name etc, and then it hangs on a black screen with only the pointer visible. I can move the pointer but that's all. ALT+CTRL+DEL doesn't work either. When I hard reset the pc, it starts and everything seems normal. Has anyone got a idea what is causing this and how to fix it? Greets JoshuaThis is my signature...

Hello, This issue should be not related to WDS. When the setup begins the installation after the copying files stage, the WDS server finishes its task. Can you manually install Windows 7 successfully on the computer? Does this issue occur on all clients? Tim Quan

Tim Quan Thank you for the reply, I reinstalled and everything seems fine now, don't know what happened. I do have another problem now. I am trying to install windows though the network but my onboard NIC's have the same GUID/UUID (00020003-0004-0005-0006-000700080009) so the pc are named the same by WDS.
