My computer is showing "load need dlls kernel". I have no CD anymore because I bought the computer years ago when I was in the Army. I only have Windows 7 upgrade CD, but my computer was using Windows XP Professional before it went down. How do I fix this problem without spending any more money. I have a lot of impotant files on the computer I don't want to lose either,,,please help.

either you should repair your computer using windows xp or install windows 7 into some other partition as there is no direct upgrade from windows xp to Windows 7 and I also encourage you to seek help in windows xp forums http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w7itpro,windowsvistaitpro,windowsxpitpro/http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin
