Have a few questions before downloading....
1. How is the driver enforcement in x64 compared to Vista SP1? I mean, things like rivatuner needed you to have the signature enforcement disabled pre-SP1 but they work fine out of the box under SP1. Is it the same thing? 2. Can you use your everyday security software like Norton 2008 on it?

Hello, By default, 64-bit versions of WindowsServer 2008 will load a kernel-mode driver only if the kernel can verify the driver signature. However, this default behavior can be disabled to facilitate early driver development and non-automated testing. You could use one of the mechanisms provided in the following article to temporarily disable load-time enforcement of a valid driver signature. Installing an Unsigned Driver During Development and Test (Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista) http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa906338.aspx There should be no problems to run software like Norton 2008 on 64-bit Windows Server 2008 Operating System. okay thanks. So it's the same as Vista X64 in the end. I know Norton 2006 didn't want to install on XP Pro X64 (said, this version of Norton cannot be installed on Windows Server 2003 ) since it's based on 2003.
