Do you know where is stored MBR and Partition Table in Hardware RAID 5? Is it in the Hard Disk or Controller?

Hi,
As far as I know, the RAID controller is read only, except you update the firmware.
MBR and Partition Table should be keep in the hard disk instead of RAID controller.

So if i change the RAID controller it doesn't effect the MBR and Partition table
