HYPER V uses fail over cluster
HYPER V uses fail over cluster and VMware uses HA and DFS so which one so effective I guess fail over cluster means if host is not sending heart beat all installed VM's will move into another Host in Hyper V?

Hello,

in a Failover Cluster running Hyper-V VMs, the load of VMs can be distributed over all Cluster Nodes.

In case you perform a maintenance, you can manually fail over the VMs on one Node to the other.

In case one Node goes down (hardware defect, etc.), all VMs which were hosted on this Node will be restarted on the other Node(s).

Best Regards,
Jens
